Nikwax SoftShell Proof™ Wash-In is easy and quick to use in the washing machine and the strong Durable Water Repellency (DWR) develops during open air drying. Machine washing ensures that the treatment goes right through the garment, reaching seams and cords in addition to the fabric. It also eliminates the need to use the tumble dryer, saving energy and protecting older, more fragile garments from heat. Nikwax SoftShell Proof™ Wash-In is specially designed and optimized for softshell garments. It leaves a flexible, water-repellent layer on individual fibers, allows water vapor to pass through and maintains breathability.
